In the Pavlodar region, QazRoyalPak LLP is implementing a waste paper recycling project. Once the plant reaches its designed capacity, the enterprise will be able to recycle up to 75,000 tons of paper waste annually. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The project's cost is approximately 10.8 billion tenge. It is financed through recycling fees channeled by Zhasyl Damu JSC, and the funds have been fully utilized.
Construction progress
According to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the project is currently being implemented in accordance with the approved schedule. Construction of production workshops is nearing completion, and work is underway on foundations for equipment. The facility is planned to be commissioned in 2028.
Significance of the project
The implementation of the project will create additional production capacities for waste paper recycling in the Pavlodar region and increase the volume of paper waste involved in recycling.
Gulnara Kaidarova, Director of QazRoyalPak LLP, noted that this project is an important stage in the development of production. Increasing production capacity will allow processing significantly larger volumes of waste paper and efficiently using recycled raw materials in the production cycle.
