A Kazaviaspas helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in the steppe of the Pavlodar region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The incident occurred several kilometers from the village of Baidaly. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The helicopter was involved in a search and rescue operation to find a man born in 1950. According to preliminary information, the man went fishing, his motorcycle overturned, and he sustained a leg injury. The search lasted about 24 hours, involving ground forces and volunteers. The man was found, the ministry noted.
The helicopter carried crew members and rescuers. All on board are alive, with no casualties or injuries, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
