A worker died at the Maikuben West enterprise in Bayanaul district, Pavlodar region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This information was confirmed by the Department of State Labor Inspection. The worker, born in 1984, sustained severe injuries while conducting drilling and blasting operations.
"On July 24, on the territory of the Maikuben West partnership in Bayanaul district, a mining master born in 1984 died during preliminary drilling and blasting operations," said Askar Kapanov, head of the department.
An investigation into the accident is currently underway. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
