In the Pavlodar region, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations used an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a loudspeaker to find a girl who went missing while vacationing on the banks of the Irtysh River. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the ministry, a report of the disappearance was received at the 112 emergency dispatch around noon. The caller stated that the previous evening, a group was camping overnight near the Boat Station area close to the village of Pavlodarskoye. In the morning, one of the girls could not be found, and independent searches yielded no results.
"To survey the area, an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a loudspeaker was deployed. Through it, rescuers repeatedly addressed the missing person. Hearing them, the girl born in 2003 responded and began moving toward the search team, which quickly allowed her location to be determined," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
After the search operation was completed, the girl was handed over to police officers. She did not require medical assistance.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded that during outdoor recreation, one should not go off alone. Rescuers recommend informing relatives of your whereabouts in advance, taking a fully charged mobile phone, and calling 112 in case of an emergency.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that a driver died in Pavlodar after crashing into a tram line support.
