Robert Pattinson admitted that during the filming of Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey,' he seriously thought Matt Damon had gone crazy. The reason was loud screams coming from a nearby trailer. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Pattinson said he initially thought Damon was angrily arguing on the phone. "He's such a nice guy... I heard him screaming and screaming non-stop. At first I thought he was on the phone and he seemed like a total psycho. Then I thought maybe he had some serious bathroom issues," the actor joked.
Later it turned out there was no drama. Damon was deliberately straining his voice to make it sound rougher and older for the role of Odysseus—a warrior who endured years of battles.
Tom Holland also heard the screams and later called such preparation for the role "amazing."
Earlier, Matt Damon lost weight to 76 kilograms for 'The Odyssey.' According to the actor, director Christopher Nolan wanted Odysseus to look thin but physically strong, so Damon had to follow a strict diet and train hard.
Previously, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Nolan's 'The Odyssey' captivated critics even before the global release.
