Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has raised the alarm over insufficient Patriot missiles, as reported by Die Welt. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine is in a very difficult situation ahead of winter. He has called on his diplomats to sound the alarm worldwide and is himself asking for help. The material states that there is a global shortage of air defense missiles, and such missiles are insufficient both in European countries and in the United States.

At the end of last month, the US President held a closed meeting with the Ukrainian leader. Following the meeting, Zelensky stated that Trump had agreed to grant Kyiv a license to produce interceptor missiles. Later, it was reported that the US decided that producing missiles in Poland would be safer.

Last week, the Financial Times reported that the White House chief had refused to provide Kyiv with additional missiles. Trump explained this decision by the missile shortage.
