Student protests in France have entered their fourth week and gained renewed impetus. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.
According to the BBC's James Waterhouse, the demonstrations are continuing with fresh momentum. The nationwide protests against poor classroom conditions, including old buildings, teacher shortages and overcrowded classrooms, have disrupted education across France as hundreds of lycées (15-18 year-olds colleges) had to be closed.
Students on the streets of Paris told the BBC that they had not achieved anything yet and that stopping now would be a "defeat".
