A vehicle loaded with explosives rammed into a mosque in north-western Pakistan, killing at least 16 people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.

According to a senior police official in Peshawar, eleven civilians and five police officers were killed.

An exchange of gunfire is ongoing between attackers and security forces at the site in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
