Kazakhstani Ozon buyers may face order cancellations after a drone attack on the marketplace's logistics complex in Russia's Samara region. This may affect orders that were routed through the affected warehouse. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, citing Ozon's press service, such shipments will be canceled and money will be returned to buyers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

If an order has already received the status of canceled in the personal account, it can be re-ordered. Orders that remain active, the marketplace intends to deliver from other warehouses.

"If a client sees in their personal account that their order is canceled, it can be immediately re-ordered. If the order is not canceled, it means we will deliver these goods from other warehouses," the Ozon press service said.

Goods that were in the affected warehouse were temporarily hidden from the marketplace's showcase. In addition, Ozon suspended accepting seller deliveries to this logistics center for security reasons. Sellers were offered to choose other warehouses, and delivery routes will be redistributed among other company facilities.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the Ozon logistics complex in the Samara region was damaged on the night of August 22 during a massive drone attack. After the strike, a fire broke out on the warehouse territory, more than 500 employees were evacuated within minutes, and casualties were reported.

The company said it will provide assistance to employees and their families. A hotline was launched for them, and psychologists were also involved in providing support.

The work of the damaged warehouse was suspended indefinitely. Ozon intends to assess the extent of the damage later.

In addition, on August 23, drones attacked the Ozon logistics center in the Orenburg region. According to available information, about 300 people were evacuated from there, and preliminary, there are no casualties.
