Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Asqarbek Yertayev, following the president's remarks, said what changes will be made to the system for assessing a family's situation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the minister, the focus will now be on an objective assessment of families' material situation in order to provide state assistance taking into account citizens' real needs. In this regard, some requirements for determining a family's social well-being have been revised.
In particular, approaches to assessing income and credit obligations, including mortgage loans, have been changed. The presence and condition of cars and agricultural machinery are taken into account. At the same time, agricultural machinery that is more than 20 years old since manufacture has been completely removed from the calculation.
The presence of individual entrepreneurship and a legal entity will not be taken into account. The presence of small land plots and private subsidiary farming will also not be considered, Yertayev said.
In addition, expenses for supporting a family, credit obligations, as well as circumstances related to the presence of a sole breadwinner and a single dwelling will be taken into account.
Along with this, an audit of 30 information systems of state bodies will be conducted, and together with regional akimats, checks of the material situation of benefit recipients will be carried out.
"These measures are aimed at increasing the accuracy of assessing citizens' well-being and ensuring the targeted nature of state support," the minister emphasized.
