The Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum continues its work in Omsk. The large-scale event is attended by delegations from Kazakhstan and Russia, including representatives of government agencies, businessmen, economists, and cultural associations. Kazakhstan is represented by delegations from several regions, who are holding working meetings and negotiations with Russian companies and government agencies. Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Saktaganov held working meetings within the forum. During a meeting with Vice-Governor of Orenburg Region Anton Efimov, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between East Kazakhstan Region and the government of Orenburg Region. The document is aimed at strengthening good-neighborly relations and developing cooperation in economic and humanitarian spheres. As a sign of friendship and partnership, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts reflecting the culture and traditions of the two regions, the akimat of East Kazakhstan Region reported.

During negotiations with Deputy Chairman of the Samara Region Government Pavel Fink, the akim discussed opportunities for joint projects in tourism, education, and digital solutions.
