Shymkent's Ordabasy has taken another step toward the gold medals of the Kazakhstan championship. In matchday 28, Andrey Martin's charges won big away at Kaisar – 4:1. With three rounds left, they lead Kairat in the title race by four points. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Johansen's hat-trick

If the first goal in Kyzylorda was scored by Bjorn Johansen from a not-so-obvious penalty, the Norwegian completed his brace in full accordance with the rules of football art. In the 33rd minute, the 196-centimeter Scandinavian responded to a cross from the flank by Brazilian Leo Natel. And, unnoticed by the defender, he struck the goal of Slovak Adam Kovac for the second time.

After the break, Johansen added an assist to his two goals, setting up Ghanaian David Abagna. By that time, Kaisar had reduced the score to a minimum through Brazilian Klayder Masedo. However, the visitors ran ahead again in the 8th minute of the second half.

And in the 72nd minute, Johansen turned his brace into a hat-trick, clearing the cobwebs from the top corner of the hosts' goal – 4:1. At the finish of the season, Ordabasy, unlike Kairat, is demonstrating championship form. The Almaty side barely overcame outsider Zhetysu the day before – 1:0.
