In Oral, a case of false certification of semi-finished products containing meat was revealed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Trade and Integration, the basis was materials received as a result of control purchases of frozen meat-containing semi-finished products.
The products were sold with a declaration of conformity of the EAEU, issued by a certification body of the Republic of Belarus.
During the study of conformity assessment materials, it was established that the declaration was adopted on the basis of a test protocol allegedly issued by an accredited test laboratory in Almaty.
In order to verify the authenticity of the document, the department sent an official request to the specified laboratory. According to the response received, tests on this product were not conducted in the laboratory, and the corresponding test protocol was not drawn up and not issued.
Thus, the declaration of conformity was registered on the basis of unreliable evidentiary material that does not confirm the actual conduct of product tests and its compliance with the mandatory requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Based on the results of the review of materials, a decision was made to cancel the declaration of conformity on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Information was sent to the authorized body and state bodies exercising control and supervision in the field of technical regulation.
For violation of the rules for conducting procedures for confirmation and assessment of conformity, the manufacturer of the products was brought to administrative responsibility.
