In Uralsk, a rescuer who was dismissed from service was reinstated and recovered his salary through court. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to court materials, the man was dismissed from service for being absent from his workplace for more than three hours. After that, he filed an application with the city court.

The court ruling noted that the employer failed to fulfill its legal obligation to request a written explanation from the employee before applying a disciplinary penalty.

"The employer failed to fulfill its legal obligation to request a written explanation from the employee before applying a disciplinary penalty. The court concluded that these actions of the employer contradict the requirements of labor legislation and recognized the dismissal order as unlawful," the official statement said.

Thus, the rescuer was reinstated to his former position. The employer was ordered to pay him 2,315,515 tenge in average salary for the time of forced absence and 350,000 tenge as expenses for representative assistance.

The court decision has not entered into legal force.
