In the city of Oral (Zachagansk settlement), West Kazakhstan region, an abandoned building that had not been used for a long time, was not properly maintained, and posed a potential threat to public safety was identified. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The adjacent area had repeatedly become a site for illegal dumping of household waste, alcohol consumption, and gatherings of people leading an antisocial lifestyle. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, facts of public order violations were recorded in the immediate vicinity of the building, causing justified concern among residents of nearby houses.
To reduce public safety risks, the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General's Office sent appropriate recommendations to local executive and authorized bodies. Based on the review of these recommendations, sanitary measures were carried out, the area was fenced off, and free access to the building was restricted. Additionally, to minimize public safety risks, demolition work on the building was carried out on July 14.
