The relationship between a teacher and a student is not always the same. Some like their teacher, while others may dislike their strictness. But how do students themselves imagine an ideal teacher? This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A Sputnik Kazakhstan correspondent asked this question to school students. According to 11th-grade student Doszhan, a teacher must first of all understand that he is an educator.
"In front of him sits someone's child, someone's future husband, grandfather, father. A teacher must know that," he says.
Almost all the students whose opinions were gathered want their teacher to be kind. They consider it important that the teacher listens to them, responds, does not interrupt, and hears them out to the end. Students also want their teachers to always look neat and well-groomed.
"He should be neither too kind nor too strict. But if I were given a "5" every day, I wouldn't mind," says 9th-grade student Damir.
Moments remembered by students
Doszhan says that at one point he asked for his homeroom teacher to be replaced, and later regretted that action.
"We offended her. Our Nursulu apai is a very good person," says Doszhan.
A student named Demeu recounted how his teacher once did not listen to him.
"I had gotten into a fight with a classmate. The teacher, without listening to me, scolded both of us. I wanted him to listen to me first," says Demeu.
Damir says he wanted to express gratitude to one teacher, while he intended to write a complaint about another.
"Our Nazerke apai is very good, a pure person. When my mother bakes bread, I want to take some to her. And I was going to write a complaint about an English language teacher named Diana. Because she seated me next to a girl. Later we made up," he says.
