The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan expresses condolences to the relatives and friends of Maxim Baginsky, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who died as a result of a fire in Omsk on August 18, 2026. This is stated in the official statement of the ministry.
According to the ministry, the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Omsk is assisting the family of the deceased in processing documents and interacting with the competent authorities of Russia.
According to RIA Novosti, after a fire at a construction site on August 15, 11 people were taken to the hospital. Two of them died.
