Reappointed Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has promised to fulfill a number of important tasks. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today, deputies of the Kurultai supported the candidacy of Olzhas Bektenov, proposed for the post of Prime Minister. After that, Bektenov himself took the podium and first thanked the President for reappointing him as head of government.
The Prime Minister also outlined key upcoming tasks. "Mr. President, by the end of the year we will ensure growth of at least 5 percent. In this regard, we will reduce inflation by stimulating income growth through active employment," Bektenov said.
In this context, the Prime Minister particularly noted that construction of important projects has begun across the country. The government will build large-scale infrastructure and social facilities at an accelerated pace.
"2026, as you have declared, is designated as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. We will make every effort to complete tasks promptly and efficiently. Digital transformation will continue in all sectors of the economy. In addition, the principle of 'Law and Order' will be one of the main guidelines of the government's work," said the head of government.
