Uzbekistan's "My Freighter" (Centrum Air) airline is opening a new route to Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Thus, starting June 13 of this year, the Uzbek airline "My Freighter" (Centrum Air) plans to open a new air route "Tashkent – Kostanay". Flights will be operated once a week (on Saturdays) on Airbus 320 aircraft.

In addition, Armenia's "FlyOne Armenia" airline is launching flights to Kazakhstan. Starting June 12 of this year, a new foreign air carrier from Armenia – "FlyOne Armenia" – has entered Kazakhstan's air transportation market. The airline will begin operating direct regular passenger flights on the Yerevan – Almaty route twice a week (on Mondays and Fridays).

As a result, the total number of flights between Kazakhstan and Armenia will increase from 3 to 5 flights per week, the statement said. The opening of new air service between Kazakhstan and Armenia will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the two countries, the ministry said.
