Uzbek police return $10,000 lost in metro to Kazakh citizen

In Tashkent, police returned $10,000 lost in the metro to a citizen of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, the money was found by a security service employee at one of the metro stations.

The owner of the money was identified through surveillance cameras. Later, the Kazakh citizen said he had planned to buy a car with the money, but the deal did not take place.
