A man was detained in Ust-Kamenogorsk after he was seen walking through an apartment building stairwell at night wearing women's clothing and underwear on his head. Residents noticed him by chance when they found a used syringe in a baby stroller and decided to check camera footage. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the HALYQSTAN Telegram channel, the incident occurred in house No. 52 on Satpayev Street. At around 3:30 a.m., cameras captured a person descending the stairs in a skirt, nylon tights, and with underwear on his head. At least, that is how residents described him when they published the video on social media.
In the morning, a used syringe was found in a baby stroller on the fourth floor. After that, residents reviewed the camera footage and contacted the police.
Later, the identity of the nighttime visitor was established. He turned out to be a 29-year-old resident of another region. The man was taken to the police station and given a preventive talk.
He said he had been in a state of alcohol intoxication for three days and did not understand how he ended up in women's clothing. According to him, this had never happened before, and he was ashamed of what happened. He took the skirt, tights, and underwear from his girlfriend, who was at work at the time.
"The man's actions have been given an appropriate legal assessment, and measures have been taken in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the regional police department said.
However, it turned out that the man had nothing to do with the syringe in the baby stroller. It has not yet been established who left it in the stairwell.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle wrote that a man in a niqab tried to go on a date without his wife's knowledge in Dagestan.
