The government reported that a number of new enterprises, transport hubs and energy facilities were commissioned last week. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Non-alcoholic beverage plant opened in Almaty region
A new non-alcoholic beverage production facility has opened in the village of Boralday in the Almaty region. As part of the project with a total cost of $344 million, 230 local residents were employed. The necessary raw materials at the enterprise are sourced from local producers. Finished products are planned to be supplied to the domestic market and CIS countries.
Bakery plant launched in North Kazakhstan region
A plant producing long-shelf-life bakery and confectionery products has started operating in the North Kazakhstan region. The production complex, which received 37 billion tenge in investment, is equipped with modern equipment brought from European countries. Once at full capacity, the plant will be able to produce up to 15 thousand tonnes of products per year. After the launch of the second line, 378 jobs are planned to be created.
Renovated railway station opened in Kokshetau
A renovated railway station has opened in Kokshetau. Elevators and escalators have been installed in the building, and a barrier-free environment has been created. The station's surrounding area, with a total area of 0.75 hectares, has also been landscaped. The station was built in 1981, and the last major repairs were carried out more than 20 years ago. The repair work was carried out as part of the Head of State's instructions on modernizing railway infrastructure. Under the programme, all 16 facilities in the region have been modernized in line with modern requirements.
Substation upgraded in Karaganda region
A second autotransformer has been commissioned at the 500 kV "Nura" substation in the Karaganda region. The project will increase the stability of the region's electric power system, create an additional capacity reserve, and also provide enterprises of the "Saryarka" SEZ with the necessary amount of electricity.
Kindergarten construction completed in Isatay district
The construction of the first kindergarten for 80 places in the village of Toman in the Isatay district has been fully completed. The building is planned to open in November this year.
