In Kazakhstan, the share of enterprises in the manufacturing sector using digital tools increased from 13% in 2022 to 21% in 2025. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov stated this during the session 'Industry 360: Production Without Borders' held at the XVI INNOPROM international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the government reported. 'We are consistently continuing the course towards developing a Just and Advanced Kazakhstan, based on openness and constructive partnership with all countries. The development of human capital, science and innovation are the key principles of state activity,' the Prime Minister emphasized.
The event focused on the digital transformation of industry. According to Bektenov, Kazakhstan is consistently implementing intelligent data analysis systems, end-to-end communication technologies, cloud platforms, and new-generation software solutions into the production circuit.
'The share of enterprises in the manufacturing sector using digital tools increased from 13% in 2022 to 21% in 2025, and the number of industries using the Industrial Internet of Things reached 7,000,' Bektenov concluded.
During the exhibition, heads of delegations reviewed developments in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, industrial equipment, innovative production solutions, and modern technologies. The Kazakh pavilion showcased developments of domestic enterprises in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, IT, food industry, and other sectors. Among the exhibitors were Qarmet, Kazakhmys, Alageum Electric, KamLitKZ, Tengry Tyres, Orda Glass, Silk Road Electronics, BTS ERG, and others.
