The meeting participants discussed the professional path of compatriots, preservation of national identity, and strengthening ties with their historical homeland. Sadenov noted that Kazakhs who have achieved success abroad worthily represent their people and contribute to the security of one of the world's largest megacities.

One of the participants was New York police officer Miras Bukeshev. He was born in 2000 in Taraz, where he grew up and graduated from school. In 2018, Bukeshev moved to the United States, and since 2023 he has been serving in the police.

Also attending the meeting was Daniyar Nurtaza, who moved to the United States with his family in 2002. In 2014, he was accepted into the New York Police Department. Later, the story of the Kazakhstani became the basis for a documentary film about his life and work in the police.

Sadenov thanked his compatriots for their dedication to the profession and worthy representation of the Kazakh people abroad, and wished them further success, good health, and well-being.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs recalled that during the working visit to New York, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan participated in the 5th UN Police Summit, spoke at a plenary session, and held meetings with UN Deputy Secretary-General Jean-Pierre Lacroix, the leadership of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, the New York Police Department, and heads of law enforcement agencies from several foreign countries.
