Kazakhstan national team defender Nuraly Alip took part in Zenit's winning match against Baltika in the ninth round of the Russian Premier League. The meeting in Kaliningrad ended 3:2 in favor of the visitors. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Alip started the game on the bench and came on in the 67th minute. The Kazakhstani, together with Roman Vega, replaced Maxim Glushenkov and Artyom Karpukas. At that moment, Zenit led 3:1.

The Petersburg side started the match actively. Already in the ninth minute, Glushenkov opened the scoring, and in the 16th, Alexander Sobolev doubled the visitors' advantage. Six minutes later, Brian Gil pulled one goal back for Baltika.

Immediately after the break, Zenit restored its two-goal advantage. In the 49th minute, Luis Henrique scored on the rebound after an attack involving Glushenkov and Sobolev – 3:1.

After Alip came on, the hosts increased the pressure. In the 82nd, Ilya Petrov tapped the ball in after Yegor Golenkov hit the post and reduced Baltika's deficit to a minimum. However, Zenit held on to the winning score for the remaining time – 3:2.

League standings

Following the match, Zenit has 18 points and climbed to third place in the RPL table. The Petersburg side trails the leading Krasnodar by two points, which has a game in hand. Baltika, with 11 points, occupies eighth place.
