The court in Shymkent continues the trial into the murder of Nurai Serikbay. At the hearing, the results of an examination of a video recording made at the police station after the girl's abduction were announced, in which she stated that she had no claims against the defendant. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Judge Sammidin Temirlaev read out the conclusions of experts who examined the video in which Nurai claims that she went with Sherkhan Aymakhan voluntarily. Speech analysis showed that the girl was reading a prepared text under someone's dictation or preliminary prompting.
"The story is presented consistently and logically. The speech contains complex syntactic constructions characteristic of written speech, lack of independent initiative in presenting one's thoughts. The speech is delivered at a medium pace, with differentiated pauses and an even, calm voice. Experts concluded that the speech contains signs of preliminary deliberation and preparation of the text," Temirlaev read.
The experts' conclusions completely refuted the testimony of former policeman Abilkazy Artykbay, who delivered the girl to the station. Earlier in court, the ex-law enforcement officer claimed that he did not prompt Nurai and the text was not prepared in advance.
Recall that on January 11, 2026, 21-year-old student Nurai was brutally murdered in Shymkent. The trial continues.
