NVIDIA founder and president Jensen Huang proposed turning Kazakhstan into a global hub for Physical AI during a meeting with head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev named digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence a national priority. "The head of state supports the partnership between NVIDIA and Higgsfield. According to him, our people welcome the company's participation in domestic technology projects," the statement said.
The NVIDIA chief highly praised the president's strategic goal to develop Kazakhstan as an AI country at the early stage of a new industrial revolution. This initiative is aimed at developing artificial intelligence and its widespread adoption.
In addition, the company head proposed turning Kazakhstan into a global hub for Physical AI. "To develop artificial intelligence, first of all, a abundant energy source is needed, as well as highly qualified specialists in science, mathematics and technology. Kazakhstan's potential is sufficient to develop each of these areas," said Jensen Huang.
He also noted that NVIDIA has begun developing partnerships with Kazakh companies, including Firebird AI KZ Ltd and Kazakhtelecom. "At the same time, we support Higgsfield, which is considered Kazakhstan's first technology unicorn. This project has taken a prominent place in the global technology ecosystem. I am very pleased with our joint work. This is only the beginning of the path we will overcome," said the company head.
Physical AI — physical artificial intelligence — enables robots, drones and unmanned vehicles to interact directly with the material world, rather than being limited to processing data in a digital environment.
