The founder and head of the world's most valuable company NVIDIA, Jensen Huang, will visit Kazakhstan for the first time and travel to Astana. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
"NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, at our invitation, will visit Kazakhstan for the first time and become a special guest of AI Month in Astana," he wrote on Instagram.
According to him, AI Month, supported by Astana Hub, will bring together AI specialists, developers, startups, researchers and representatives of the technology industry. The month will begin on September 23 with one of the world's largest AI hackathons – HackAlem AI. Participants can use NVIDIA's technological resources to develop and test their solutions.
On October 1, NVIDIA Vice President for Physical AI Modeling Rev Lebaredian will take part in a meeting of the council on artificial intelligence. On October 2-3, the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026 will be held.
On October 23, AI Month will conclude with the participation of Jensen Huang. At the international center alem.ai, participants will discuss the future of AI in a fireside chat format, technological processes, specialist training and the opportunities of Central Eurasia.
"Our goal is to make Kazakhstan a center in Central Eurasia where AI talents meet, where advanced ideas reach the global market. For this, within the framework of the year of digitalization and artificial intelligence, we are training specialists, supporting technological entrepreneurship and developing the necessary infrastructure," said Zhaslan Madiyev.
According to him, direct dialogue with leaders such as Jensen Huang opens new opportunities for young developers and gives impetus to turning their ideas into a real product. NVIDIA's market capitalization exceeds $5.3 trillion – by company value it ranks first in the world.
The company has become one of the main beneficiaries of global interest in the development of AI, which has driven demand for NVIDIA products. For example, modern AI models require enormous computing power, which leads to growth in sales of the company's graphics cards and other products. More and more companies around the world are training and launching AI models, which increases demand for NVIDIA goods. AI stimulates demand for everything NVIDIA provides: GPU, CPU, networking equipment, NVLink, InfiniBand, Ethernet, storage systems and software.
