Norwegians across the country lined up early Sunday in front of cathedrals and churches for memorial services held for the late King Harald V, who died at 89. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.

The mourning service in Asker church was attended by King Haakon, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Queen Sonja and Prince Sverre Magnus. King Haakon arrived first, with the rest of the family joining him.

Flowers and cards were laid at the Blue Stone in Bergen. In Trondheim, flowers and condolences surrounded Stiftsgården.
