Kazakhstani wrestler Nilufar Raimova won a bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games in the up to 57 kg weight category. In the bout for third place, she defeated Netmi Ahinsu Fernando Porutotage from Sri Lanka early. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The first period ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of Raimova. After the break, the Kazakhstani athlete scored eight more unanswered points and brought the final score to 13:1.

The bout was stopped early. Raimova was awarded victory by technical superiority.

Thus, the Kazakhstani women's team finished its performance at the 2026 Games with three medals. Elmira Syzdykova won silver, while Zeinep Bayanova and Raimova each won bronze.
