The flood occurred on the morning of August 26 in the northern districts of Nepal. It was caused by a powerful water flow from China's territory entering the Bhote Koshi River. The disaster was triggered by a landslide that occurred after an earthquake.
Currently, more than 2,000 people remain missing.
