The main Unified National Test (UNT) has been taken 236 thousand times in the country. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The main UNT, which began on May 10, 2026, was taken approximately 236 thousand times. 72% of applicants took the test in Kazakh, 28% in Russian, and 408 times in English.
According to the results of the fifth week, 67% of applicants scored the threshold. The average score across five subjects was 64 points. The highest result of 140 points was achieved by Asset Altair, a graduate from Pavlodar region.
Additionally, 668 applicants with special educational needs participated in the UNT. During the five weeks of the UNT, 474 violations were detected. 298 applicants were disqualified for attempting to bring smartphones, smart glasses, micro-earpieces, cheat sheets, and other prohibited items. Another 176 people were removed from the exam room for violating rules during the test, and their results were canceled. No cases of impersonation were detected.
After the completion of the 2026 UNT, video recordings will be analyzed until October 31 of the calendar year. If violations or use of prohibited items are found, UNT results will be canceled.
Recall that about 240 thousand applicants submitted over 446 thousand applications for participation in the test, considering two opportunities.
