In the Nauryzbai district of Almaty, construction of new schools and kindergartens continues. Journalists were told about the development of the district's social infrastructure during a press tour organized by the Nauryzbai district akimat together with the Regional Communications Service of Almaty. Participants were shown educational facilities under construction and institutions already put into operation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Today, one of the priority areas of the district's development remains providing residents with quality social infrastructure. Construction of new educational facilities is underway, which will create thousands of additional places for schoolchildren and preschoolers.

Boarding school and school extension

Currently, construction continues on boarding school No. 15 with a dormitory for 340 places. The facility is fully ready, and its opening is planned for September 2026. At the same time, construction of an extension for 375 places to school-gymnasium No. 174 is being completed. It will also welcome its first students in September of this year.

Construction of kindergartens

In parallel, projects for the construction of preschool institutions are being implemented in the district. By the end of the third quarter of 2026, it is planned to complete the construction of three kindergartens: two facilities for 320 places in the Nurly Dala and Kuramys microdistricts, as well as a kindergarten for 240 places in the Kalkaman microdistrict.

Commissioned facilities

At the same time, the district's network of educational institutions has already been replenished with new facilities. Five schools have been put into operation: school No. 41 near the Alem City residential complex for 1,200 places, school No. 214 in the Nurly Dala residential complex for 1,500 places, school No. 221 on Sabdenov Street for 2,500 places, school No. 219 in the Kuramys microdistrict for 1,500 places, and school No. 223 in the Alma City-3 residential complex for 1,200 places.

In addition, kindergarten No. 202, designed for 320 children, has started operating in the Shugyla microdistrict.

As noted by the akim of the Nauryzbai district, Nazira Togizbayeva, the development of social infrastructure remains one of the key areas of work in one of the fastest-growing districts of Almaty. The construction of new schools and kindergartens makes it possible to reduce the shortage of student places, make education more accessible to residents of new microdistricts, and create comfortable conditions for the education and upbringing of children.
