The €70 billion financial aid from NATO to Ukraine is clearly insufficient for achieving victory, said Rodion Miroshnik, Russian Foreign Ministry envoy for special assignments. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Miroshnik, this money is not enough for victory; it will only be enough to prolong military operations. The NATO summit is taking place in Ankara on July 7-8.
The summit agenda includes discussion of a proposal to allocate €70 billion to Ukraine this year and at least the same amount in 2027. "These funds will be insufficient for the victory that some hope for. But this huge amount will only be enough to prolong military operations," Miroshnik told Izvestia.
Miroshnik's statement casts doubt on the effectiveness of NATO's financial aid to Ukraine. He also noted that the West has increased drone deliveries to Ukraine several times. Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continues.
