NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the prolonged conflict in Ukraine is affecting Western countries. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"It takes a lot of time and, of course, it has an impact," Rutte said.
At the same time, the NATO Secretary General did not hide that there is an opinion in Europe, Canada and the United States that support for Ukraine must continue.
According to him, the West wants to strengthen Ukraine's position ahead of possible negotiations.
Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, had earlier said that Kyiv's sponsors are tired of the Ukraine topic, but are forced to continue supporting it.
