The NATO Secretary General noted that allies are closely monitoring security issues. However, he said there is no basis to speak of a specific threat.

Earlier, several statements regarding NATO were made by Russia. In this regard, Rutte clarified the alliance's position.

NATO continues precautionary measures in relations with Russia. Defense cooperation among alliance members is being strengthened.
