According to Akorda, by decree of the head of state, Mukhtar Beskenovich Tileuberdi was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and he was relieved of his previous position.
What is known about Mukhtar Tileuberdi
Mukhtar Beskenovich Tileuberdi was born on June 30, 1968. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics of the Kazakh State University named after Kirov. He underwent training at the Institute of Asia and Africa under Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and at the Institute of Languages under Yense University (Republic of Korea).
After graduating from university, he worked at the departments of history of philosophy and Chinese philology at Al-Farabi KazNU. He began his diplomatic service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1993 as an attaché. Over the years, he held ambassadorial positions in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Switzerland, and other countries.
He holds the diplomatic rank of "Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary." In March 2016, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2019, he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2021, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister, combining both positions. On August 14, 2023, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Austria.
