Police detained a teacher on suspicion of fraudulent activities. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
Two residents of Kosshy city in Akmola region suffered from the suspect's actions, with damages totaling 22 million tenge. Additionally, according to law enforcement, residents of the capital also suffered.
According to the investigation, the suspect, under the pretext of helping to purchase an apartment, appropriated citizens' funds in the amounts of 14 and 8 million tenge. In July of this year, she was put on the wanted list.
The woman was detained in Aktobe and placed in a temporary detention facility. According to law enforcement, before her arrest, the suspect worked as a teacher at one of the secondary schools in Aktobe.
Currently, police are checking the circumstances of her employment, including the authenticity of documents submitted to the educational institution. Police do not hide that they assume the possible use of forged documents and certificates.
