Rodion Miroshnik, Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large, has named the West's main goal in Ukraine. In his view, the West is trying to organize terrorist acts on Russian territory with the help of Ukraine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"The West's main goal is to use the efforts of the terrorist group in Ukraine against Russia," Miroshnik said. He noted that terrorist methods can only be countered through the unity of countries. "However, the West believes that terrorism against Russia is permissible," the ambassador added.
Earlier, on August 20, Miroshnik stated that Vladimir Zelensky had chosen a strategy of terrorist warfare, daily ordering military crimes against civilians. Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on Kyiv's terrorist attacks, said the adversary was trying to force Russia to temporarily halt its offensive by striking infrastructure.
However, the president stressed that Russian troops will do everything to achieve the goals of the special military operation, and Russia's retaliatory strikes deep into Ukrainian territory will be much more powerful and cause significant damage.
