The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan stated that sufficient reserves of petroleum products have been formed in the country, ensuring stable supply to consumers during the summer and tourist season. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Kazinform International News Agency, the Ministry of Energy reported that the total volume of petroleum product reserves exceeds 1.1 million tons. These include AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, as well as diesel fuel. The reserves are regularly replenished through current production from domestic oil refineries.
To ensure the stability of the domestic market, state regulation measures continue to apply. In particular, a temporary ban on the export of certain types of petroleum products by road and rail transport remains in effect until November 21 of the current year. Additionally, there is a restriction on crossing the state border by vehicles — no more than once per day. Since June 20, control at checkpoints has been strengthened with the involvement of units from the National Security Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Revenue Committee, and the Financial Monitoring Agency.
The Ministry of Energy noted that the situation on the domestic market is under constant control of the government and authorized state bodies. Regional headquarters operate under akimats, led by deputy akims in charge, with the participation of entrepreneurship departments.

The main volume of work on the ground is provided by territorial structures: departments of state revenues, economic investigations, and protection and development of competition.
"Currently, they are conducting enhanced targeted inspections: specialists monitor the availability of volumes at gas stations, suppress facts of illegal export of fuels and lubricants, and respond to possible unjustified actions of sellers," said Asel Serikpaeva, official representative of the Ministry of Energy.
It is also noted that retail prices for motor fuel in Kazakhstan are not regulated by the state and are formed exclusively on a market basis.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that the Ministry of Energy commented on the tense situation with autogas at gas stations in the Mangystau and Atyrau regions.
According to the ministry, autogas supplies to the western regions are carried out stably and in volumes exceeding the estimated needs of the regions.
