Merz made this statement after a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" in Paris. "It is time to sit down at the negotiating table. It is time to agree on a ceasefire," Merz said. His words were broadcast live on the DRM News YouTube channel.
He noted that Europe is also ready to negotiate with the support of the European Union and the United States. In addition, Merz stated that European countries will continue to increase pressure on Moscow.
