The results of the competition for state educational grants for the 2026–2027 academic year will be published on August 7 at 15:00. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, the republican commission has already completed the distribution of state educational grants. Its members included representatives of government agencies, public organizations, education trade unions, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and the Association of Universities.

Competition participation figures

"This year, more than 127 thousand applications were submitted for the competition. The most popular among applicants were the training areas 'Pedagogical Sciences', 'Engineering, Processing and Construction Industries', and 'Information and Communication Technologies'," said Sayasat Nurbek.

The minister also noted that the highest competition this year is expected for educational programs that train future translators, diplomats, lawyers, psychologists, and teachers.

The lists of state educational grant holders will appear on August 7 at 15:00 on the official information resources of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as on the pages of the head of the department on social networks.

Document submission deadlines

The ministry reminded that the acceptance of documents to higher educational institutions will last until August 25, 2026.
