A 15-year-old boy was found with stab wounds outside Craigieburn Community Hospital in Melbourne's north and died at the scene. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing The Guardian.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:50 pm on Wednesday on Lygon Drive, in Melbourne's north, outside Craigieburn Community Hospital. The boy had suspected stab wounds.

A staff member from the medical centre rushed to his aid and performed CPR, but was unable to save the boy, who died at the scene.

In a statement released on Wednesday night, police said a crime scene had been established and the boy, from Mickleham, had yet to be formally identified.

At about 5:30 am on Thursday, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were arrested in the nearby suburb of Pascoe Vale. They will be interviewed by homicide squad detectives, Victoria police said.

The investigation is ongoing. Police said they would release further information later.
