About 450,000 children in Kazakhstan will receive help to prepare for school. The minimum amount of support will be 50,800 tenge per child. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

From August 1 to September 30, the 'Vseobuch' fund will provide financial assistance to children from socially vulnerable categories for the purchase of school uniforms, shoes, and stationery. For these purposes, akimats have allocated about 23 billion tenge.

The ministry noted that the minimum amount of assistance this year increased by 10% compared to last year. At the same time, depending on the capabilities of the local budget, the payment amount may be higher in some regions.

Assistance is provided for orphans and children left without parental care, schoolchildren from low-income families, families receiving targeted social assistance, as well as children in difficult life situations.

To receive the payment, parents or legal representatives must contact the educational organization and submit the necessary documents.

Earlier, 'Kursiv' reported that the holiday schedule for the 2026-2027 academic year had been published.

Procedure for receiving assistance

To receive assistance from the 'Vseobuch' fund, parents or legal representatives must submit an application to the school or other educational organization where the child is enrolled. The application must be accompanied by the necessary documents. The exact list of documents is usually determined by local akimats and educational organizations.
