Troy is a quintessential Reynolds character: snarky, sarcastic, and full of himself. He is sure he is the best pilot in classic "Top Gun" fashion. He also has a hang-up about faces he deems unpleasant, including those of Cabbage Patch Kids, the pilot leading the black ops mission, and a Russian child whose guardians have taken them in for the night. However, his jokes only work when playing against Branagh.
