At today's Senate meeting, the number of parcels sent to Kazakhstan via marketplaces was announced. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Currently, goods purchased on foreign online platforms are intended only for personal use. There is also a clear limit on one duty-free parcel: weight - 31 kg, and price must not exceed 200 euros.

According to official data, in 2025, over 26 million parcels arrived in Kazakhstan. Only 2.8 billion tenge in customs duties and taxes were paid to the budget, as the share of duty-free parcels was 97 percent.

In the first five months of this year, over 11 million parcels were delivered to Kazakhstan. The total value of all goods is 131 billion tenge, with 1.1 billion tenge received by the budget.

It is worth noting that under the law considered in the Senate today, it is planned to declare goods purchased for personal use. This will allow for complete statistics on goods delivered from abroad. The declaration will be handled by the marketplaces themselves. For individuals, nothing will change.
