Foreign tourist Olesya Plyusnina showed an unusual side of traveling in Mangistau: the tourist published a video in which she relieves herself in nature. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Kazakh blogger Azamat Sarsenbayev was outraged by such footage. Plyusnina creates English-language content about traveling around the world. According to media reports, she is presumably from Canada. The girl captioned the video from Mangistau with “Toilet place 100 out of 10.”
Sarsenbayev did not appreciate such frankness. He criticized the tourist for deciding to put what was happening on display and noted that she relieves herself next to a tourist attraction.
“Seriously… is there really no common sense left in this world?” the blogger wrote.

In the comments, the conversation took a different turn. Some users saw the video as a reason to ask why there are not enough toilets in places where travelers come.
“Actually, everyone does this, just not on camera)) she is showing the lack of a toilet),” one comment read.
Others expressed hope that the resonance would force the authorities to address the problem.
“Maybe the authorities will hear and create toilets,” one user wrote.
Some commentators even suggested that Plyusnina deliberately posted provocative footage to draw attention to the lack of amenities.
At the time of publication, Plyusnina’s Instagram page was unavailable. When trying to open the profile, a message appeared: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” The reason is unknown: the tourist could have deleted the account, and a platform block due to user complaints is also possible.
