A serviceman taken to the Mangystau regional multidisciplinary hospital is in serious condition. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional health department, the patient is currently under constant supervision by doctors. He is receiving all necessary medical care in full.
"The serviceman's current condition is assessed as stable but serious. Specialists continue the necessary treatment measures and keep the patient's health under constant monitoring," the department said.
The situation is under the control of the Mangystau region health department.
Recall that an emergency occurred during exercises in the Mangystau region, killing 9 people. On 24 September, due to a sharp deterioration in weather and stronger winds, a wave swept away 19 servicemen in the Caspian Sea.
It has now been established that 9 of them died. Three servicemen were rescued, one of whom was hospitalized. The search for the others continues.
A government commission was immediately created in connection with the tragic incident. The President declared 25 September a day of mourning in Kazakhstan.
