Two workers repairing a road in Mangystau died after being crushed between a Gazelle vehicle and a road barrier. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On September 9, four vehicles were involved in a traffic accident on the Zhetybai–Aktau highway. According to preliminary information, one KamAZ was towing another KamAZ.
While maneuvering to bypass a Gazelle standing on the road, the towed KamAZ collided with the Gazelle. From the impact, the Gazelle crashed into the road barrier, and two men who were between the vehicle and the barrier were crushed.
Both died at the scene from their injuries. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
The vehicles were placed in a special parking lot. An investigation is currently underway, and all circumstances of the traffic accident are being established.
