A driver has been sentenced for a road accident in Mangystau region that killed four people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The incident occurred on July 12, 2025, in Mangystau region. The driver, while driving a Nissan, violated traffic rules. As a result, four people died and several others were injured.

During the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt. The court found him guilty under Part 4 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment. Additionally, he was deprived of the right to drive vehicles for 10 years.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force; the parties have the right to file an appeal.
